PUBLIC LIBRARY UPCOMING EVENTS ~

February – Thursday, 2/27 from 5:30-7pm – Dark Sky Party – stargazing with actual astronomers, create “space” music on a theremin, look inside a stellarium, paint your own supernova and, of course, some hot cocoa and treats. Friday, 2/28 at 3:30pm – Virtual Reality demo using the Occulus goggles and/or Playstation4. – This even requires a parental waiver

March—SAT Practice Tests—We are planning to host at least 1-2 more SAT practice tests (probably in March or April) for the May exam.

Ongoing–Service Learning Opportunities: If you could remind students that we are still accepting Service Learner applications for community service hours. If anyone is interested, please stop by the library and ask for Cristin McVey.
